RED RIBBON CLUB
With the aim of spreading awareness about HIV and AIDS among students, the Government of India initiated the formation of Red Ribbon Clubs in schools and colleges. The primary objective of the club is to create awareness and to induce the spirit among youth to help and support and support people living with HIV/AIDS thereby reducing stigma and discrimination. The objective is to motivate youth and build their capacity as peer educators and agents of change. The club also promotes voluntary blood donation among youth.
